new additions to the family

it's true...we own a new suburban! the dealership just dropped it off at our house. and here it is...obviously not our front yard, but same color, wheels, etc...

our plan was to get a minivan and drive that until we had another bergstrom and then upgrade to the suburban...which brings me to our second suprise. i found out at my six week appt that we are expecting again. who knew that could even happen! with all the false alarms we had after mclayne it was bound to happen, but so soon! what a shock!!! we'll keep everyone posted...

beauty + the beast

beauty...no doubt inspired by alice the fairy, a book she read at grandma's house, mclayne decided to buy fairy bling at the store on friday while i was at a doctors appointment. i must say ryan did a good (almost too good) picking out accessories. she's down to just the crown...which she insists on wearing on her "eye grow." (eye brow)
beast...mclayne's hair after volunterily sleeping in her big girl bed over night. i have no idea what she was doing with her pillow!

trip to utah

highlights of our time in utah...mainly the blessing and valentines day. can't wait to do it again!

president's day at the zoo

before we flew out on monday we spent the day at Hogle Zoo with steve, lori, & bret...and the rest of Utah! who knew the zoo was so popular in the winter? but it was a goot time. if you ask laynie what she remembers she says, "rhino", "baby giraffe", "giraffe go pee pee", "tiger go rarrrr". ditto mclayne

here are cole's blessing pictures from kiddie kandids. we always say we are never going back to kk, but they are just so convenient! and, i know i'm biased, but these turned out pretty nicely! we attempted to get one shot of mclayne in her birthday dress but no luck (and she still had melt-down anyway!)

what a sucker!

laynie has had a rough couple of days. with cole extra fussy and needing extra attention, i think mclayne feels a little neglected. i got out the new double stroller and took her on a walk yesterday, took her swinging in the basement, let her watch her favorite movies...nothing seemed to help. that is until i let her have a sucker from grandma's valentin's package. she was pretty happy! too bad it didn't last because we're driving to utah today. i think it might be a LONG trip...what a sucker!

best week ever

the best week ever has officially come to a close. today, after bisseling juice and poo out of the carpet and dealing with cole's excessive barfing and crying, i decided that i should remind myself how good it was just a few short days ago. so the highlight, of coarse, was doing my taxes on friday or as i like to call it maximizing my refund. seriously, i know most people cringe when they think of tax time, but not me. i think turbotax is the best computer game around! and to be done by feb 1...doesn't get much better than that. as if that wasn't enough, ryan got an extra week of paternity vacation, we took our 1st family outing to a party at cost vida, and i was visited by mr. ups every day...i love getting things in the mail. so like i said, free cash-money, free vacation, free food, and not-so-free packages...best week ever!
(i would have posted a picture, but i thought i would spare everyone from having to witness mclayne's NASTY accident!)
