a long time ago when ryan lived in japan...

he bought two camera lenses. about a year ago he bought a pretty inexpensive sony that was compatible with them. since then i've just been using the "regular" lens and it does a great job. but recently i started using the other one, i think it's a telephoto, but i could be wrong. either way, it's pretty awesome. so, for those of you that asked, i have a "new" ten.year.old lens!

and while we're on the topic of ryan stories...
on friday we driving in the car and mclayne told me a story about daddy playing football and a "guy big as fwee elephants" hurting him. she continued to tell the story down to every detail...including the stretcher, screws, and needle and fwed. i think daddy's bedtime stories are better than all the others combined!

Those pictures are so good! And your kids are darn cute. Maybe I should get my other lens out and try it. I am just so intimidated by nice things...

Seriously, those pictures rock. I have had a telephoto lens for a few months now, and seriously used it one day and decided it was for stuff like scenery that was far away and haven't used it since. You have totally convinced me otherwise and I can't wait to try it on real people because I love this effect in the pictures. Thanks for sharing!!!
