mclayne isn't one for princess dress-ups or make-up, but i caught this rare moment of her being girly. i came out to find her wearing lip stick, nail polish, covered with glitter, and flipping through a blank notebook like a magazine. a sign of things to come? i don't think so. she spent the rest of the day building a trap for the snake she found in the yard and chased into our rock wall. she was "confused{convinced} it was a guard{garter} snake." 
by some miracle cole escaped being made over.

Your kids are so freaking adorable! Seriously. Spencer and I need to take a trip out there to see you guys. Maybe in August?
So cute. They both are. I love that she is trying to catch the guard snake!
Cole is such a big boy! He's growing up too fast! I can't wait to see the kids. (and you of course!)
Cole has grown up so much ~ it is crazy to see him with so many teeth! Your kids are adorable ~ hopefully I can see them (and you) in person again soon!
