have you ever realized how excited complete stangers get over babies?! well it is even worse with twins (or even look.a.like twins)...while strolling cole and his avery around at bear lake people were going crazy over these two!

BEAR LAKE

this year was the 30th annual stewart reunion. i was once again solo with the two kids for most of the trip so it didn't feel like too much of a vacation. luckily ryan was able to make if for the last couple days and provide proof to the extended family that i really do have a husband. the weather was beautiful and the food was great. mclayne rode on a jet ski for the first time and my arms are still tired from all the volleyball. wow...30 years!

cole had his 6 month check-up today...it was so traumatizing. cole fell off the table while we were waiting for the nurse to come in with the shots. direct hit right on the forehead! the doctor ran in and checked his eyes and limbs and we put an ice pack on it. everything looked ok but cole just couldn't settle down so the doctor told me to watch his pupils for dilation and his soft spot for bulging. poor cole...i feel terrible. given the state he was in, he handled the shots pretty well. i pinched mclayne's leg buckling her in and cole started crying when i put him in the car, so i drove away with two SCREAMING kids. not fun.

he is still average across the board...well, except for his looks, which are clearly above-average;)

now we (me,mclayne,cole) are off to utah. unfortunately, ryan is staying behind... with a loaded gun for all you would-be criminals!

i am loving these mosaics...so many fun applications! a picture of the birthday girl made from pictures or video from the party or a mosaic of the kids made with pictures of just them + ryan for fathers day...pretty neat!

well, kind of....
last night mclayne yells, "cole rolled over!" i peaked in from the kitchen and got all excited because he had gone from his back to his stomach! then i noticed some suspicious red marks on his side and asked mclayne if she had rolled cole over. "i did" she was still pretty proud...of herself!
