nine o'clock church...boo!

I really can't wait until we move to the 11 o'clock time schedule. and not just so we'll actually make it to church on time (we haven't made it on time yet this year...i just can't bring myself to wake up cole "early" at 8:30 on sunday mornings).
It will also make holidays that fall on sunday much more enjoyable to celebrate. for instance, this year the kids opened their baskets at different times, ryan caught very little of each, mclayne tested out each toy for about 15 seconds, and then we rushed to church an hour late.

mclayne's 15 seconds with BV, her beaver puppet. she put on a little show in a very low, husky beaver voice. wish we had it on video.

Check out the size of those baskets. Looks like your kids made out good this year. Love their Easter outfits. Early church is so hard with kids but if it's any consolation we have 11:00 this year and I am yet to make it on time to that either.

Oh, I wouldn't complain if I had to wake my kids up "early" at 8:30!!! My kids wake up at 7:00!!! You are one lucky girl! I miss sleeping in...

And I agree with Sara, looks like your kids scored this year! I love the outfits too. But I do agree it is hard to enjoy the holiday morning when you have to get to church. You were good to go at all I say!

Their Easter pictures are adorable! I would love to see Mclayne doing the beaver voice. You will definitely need to capture that on tape!

I came across your blog on Sarah's.  I hope you don't mind.  Kyle saw McClayne's picture and got excited "BaClayne!"  You are too funny.  The only reason we are on time to church is because I was chorister for almost 5 years and had to be on time (early infact).  Henry really wants to go back to when we would show up during the closing song.
